Duration : 4 days (3 days with eLearning)

If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI® Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. 

To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required. This course certifies you to dive upto 18 meters of depth without direct supervision. 

Entry Prerequisites

  • You must be 10 years old or older in order to enroll for the padi open water diver course
  • Ability to swim 100 meters without wearing any masks, snorkels, fins.
  • Ability to float/thread water for 10 minutes.
  • Has no medical conditions which will prevent you from scuba diving .Click on the PADI Medical Statement to check if you are eligible.

Dive in! From the start to finish

Dry theory

You can start the course even before you visit the dive center with eLearning! This will reduce the course time and also give you access to comfortably finish your theory portion at home.

If the time is not a problem for you, you can start your open water diver course by visiting the dive center.

1st Day

Duration: 9a.m. to 4p.m.

You will start by filling out the paperwork, and registering with PADI. Please note that we take full payment for the course on the first day. Read more on our refund policy by clicking here.

Then hop inside our classroom to start your theory session. There will be a 4-hour video theory session that will consist of 5 segments, which you will have to refer to answer the 5 knowledge review papers. Also, there will be a quiz and a final exam to complete. These can be completed as you progress through certain theory and practical modules with the guidance of your scuba instructor.

The duration of the first day will be varied depends on the theory completion. Don’t worry. You can take plenty of breaks during your theory to stretch you legs, have a coffee, or go for a quick dip in the sea to cool off!

Getting Wet, Pool Party!

2nd Day

Duration: 8.00 a.m. to 2p.m.

Your instructor will start with Scuba equipment assembly exercise to get you familiar with all that interesting looking gear.

After that, you can jump into the pool to learn your first techniques and skills. This can take time, With scuba courses, we progress in a phase you are comfortable with. Nobody gets left behind. Time to blow the first happy bubbles underwater!

3rd and 4th Day

Duration: 8.00 a.m. to 2p.m.

You will do 2 open water dives in the ocean with your instructor each day and put your skills into practise. At the end of the 4th day, considering all the theory segments including the final exam and the practical sessions are done, your certification will be issued.

Enjoy the rest of the day chilling on the beach, watching a beautiful sunset. Congratulations! You are a scuba diver now. The underwater world is yours to explore!
