Refund Policy

Refunds? Never heard of them.. Just Kidding!!

Discover Scuba Diving

  • Polhena Diving Center offers a 50% money back if a discover scuba diver will not dive due to their own personal reasons (Anxiety, Not comfortable in water, etc.). However, to get a 50% refund, the diver should not enter the open water(the actual dive you do after the training) . If a diver enters the open water and then decides to come back, no refund will be given. 
  • There will be no refunds given if the diver starts the dive/ enter the open water and then decides to come back. 

Scuba Courses

  • Once you pay for the course, and decide to quit before proceeding with anything, you can get a refund minus the PADI fees which we used to buy the certification for you. 
  • If you complete the theory and decide not to do your open water dives, you will only get a 50% refund. 
  • If you proceed with the open water dives and do not complete them, you will not be refunded. 
  • We understand sometimes trip cancellations and changes happen, this is why we encourage purchasing eLearning passes when registering for courses. You can use them to complete your dive certification with any diving center regardless of the dive shop you purchased them from. 

Snorkeling

  • Polhena diving Center will offer a 50% refund if a person will not go in the water, or come back from the water within 5 minutes of snorkeling to end their experience. 
  • Please check if you have the correct gear with you before departure. Every person will be allowed to check for the proper snorkeling gear that they are comfortable with  the help of our crew. Refund requests due to uncomfortable gear after a snorkeling trip will not be entertained. 

Fun Diving / Certified diver activities

  • If you happen to be the only diver on the boat, and you decide to cancel the dives (personal reasons) , you will not be refunded. 
  • If you booked for two dives and decide to cancel the second dive, you will be refunded for the dive that you have cancelled. however, If you decide to enter the water on your second dive, and then change your mind later, there will be no refunds.
