This is one of the most challenging yet rewarding courses in PADI recreational scuba diving certification lineup. you will learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.

Duration : 3 days (2-3 days with eLearning)
The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:
You can start the course even before you visit the dive center with eLearning! This will reduce the course time and also give you access to comfortably finish your theory portion at home.
If the time is not a problem for you, you can start your Advanced Open Water Diver course by visiting the dive center.
There will be two to three dives with pool sessions. In those sessions, the instructor will be assessing your skills in buoyancy, rescue skills and other course related skill learning.
Daily Duration: 7a.m. to 2p.m.

You will need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. If you haven’t done it, You can complete the EFR course in the dive shop. it is a half day course.
The Rescue Diver Course will start you looking differently at diving, being more aware of the divers around you as well your own safety and dive gear.
It is a prerequisite for the Master Scuba Diver Rating (the most prestigious recreational rating) as well as the Divemaster program (the first step in the professional dive ratings). It is commonly viewed as the most important dive course people take.
After the skill lessons, you will have to create a Incident Management Outline report, This will assess your knowledge in handling an emergency in a well thought proper procedure.
