Take the first step into professional diving with the PADI Divemaster Course at Polhena Diving Center. This program is more than a course — it’s an internship-style experience that immerses you in the daily operations of a working PADI 5-Star Dive Resort.

Under the mentorship of experienced instructors, you’ll refine your dive skills, learn to supervise certified divers, assist in training sessions, and manage real diving activities. The course also develops your understanding of dive theory, safety management, and leadership — preparing you to work as a certified PADI professional anywhere in the world.

What to Expect:

  • Professional Training: Build leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills through practical workshops and real dive-center experience.

  • Skill Mastery: Perfect your stamina, rescue, and underwater demonstration techniques.

  • Hands-On Internship: Assist instructors with actual student courses and guide certified divers on recreational dives.

  • Certification: Earn your PADI Divemaster certification, the first professional level in the PADI system.

  • Week 1 – Dive Theory & Core Skills:
    Review advanced dive theory, planning, decompression models, and professional standards.

  • Week 2 – Water Skills & Leadership Exercises:
    Conduct stamina and rescue assessments, underwater skill demonstrations, and problem-solving drills.

  • Week 3 – Internship & Practical Experience:
    Work alongside instructors assisting real students, managing dive logistics, and leading fun dives.

    (The schedule can be adapted based on progress and availability. Extended internships are available.)

Duration: 3–4 weeks (flexible, internship-style format)

  • Full professional mentorship from PADI instructors

  • A lot of scuba diving during the training period

  • Use of dive center facilities and tanks

  • PADI Divemaster training materials

  • Food and lodging: USD 20 per day (includes 2 meals and basic accommodation)

  • PADI Divemaster Application Fee: USD 200 (paid directly to PADI upon completion)

  • Minimum age 18 years

  • Certified PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)

  • EFR certification within the past 24 months

  • Minimum 40 logged dives to begin and 60 dives to certify

  • Physically fit for diving and medically cleared
