The PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program is the perfect introduction to scuba diving for those who want more than just a casual experience. This half-day session gives you a taste of real diving under the direct supervision of a PADI-certified instructor, while earning your official PADI Discover Scuba Diving recognition — your first step toward becoming a certified diver.
You’ll learn key scuba skills, complete confined-water training, and then dive in the open ocean to experience the thrill of breathing underwater while exploring Sri Lanka’s vibrant marine world.
What to Expect:
Orientation & Theory (30 mins):
Learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including basic safety rules, equalization, and underwater communication.Confined Water Training (30 mins):
Practice essential scuba skills in shallow water until you’re fully comfortable.Open Water Dive (30–40 mins):
Take your first real dive at Moray Point Reef, descending up to 12 meters under instructor supervision to explore coral reefs and marine life.Certification & Debrief (15 mins):
Wrap up your session and receive your PADI Discover Scuba Diving recognition e-card, which counts toward your Open Water Diver course if you choose to continue with our diving center.
