Continue your diving journey with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course at Polhena Diving Center. This course is designed for certified Open Water Divers who want to enhance their skills, boost confidence, and experience new diving challenges under the guidance of our professional PADI instructors.
You’ll complete five adventure dives, including Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation, plus three specialty dives: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Fish Identification, and Boat Diving. Each dive introduces new techniques and builds your confidence as a diver, preparing you to explore the ocean up to 30 meters deep.

Certification: Earn your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, valid worldwide.
Day 1 – Orientation & Knowledge Development:
Review theory lessons (or eLearning recap), complete dive planning, and prepare equipment.Day 2 – Deep Dive & Navigation Dive:
Two mandatory adventure dives — Deep Dive (up to 30 m) and Underwater Navigation Dive.Day 3 – Specialty Adventure Dives:
Conduct three additional dives focusing on Peak Performance Buoyancy, Fish Identification, and Boat Diving.

Course prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver, or qualifying entry-level certification.
The minimum age to start the Advanced Open Water Diver course is 12.
Divers 15 or older earn an Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Divers between the ages of 12-14 earn a Junior Advanced Open Water certification.
Divers 10-11 can earn a Junior Adventure Diver certification. Upon turning 12, they can complete the deep dive and earn a Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Divers certified as Junior Advanced Open Water Divers automatically become Advanced Open Water Divers at age 15. Any replacement certification card or eCard purchased the day after the diver's 15th birthday will automatically show an Advanced Open Water Diver (not Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver) certification.
